Gina Castellano advises corporations and executives in complex investigations, enforcement actions, civil litigation, and compliance matters. A seasoned trial attorney and former federal prosecutor, she focuses on high-stakes criminal and regulatory proceedings, particularly those involving financial fraud and anti-corruption issues.
Gina routinely represents corporations in internal investigations and before key U.S. authorities, including the Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission. Her experience includes cross-border investigations, workplace misconduct matters, and criminal and civil False Claims Act investigations for clients in the financial services, pharmaceutical, defense and oil services industries. She also advises institutional clients on the design and implementation of compliance programs. Individuals across a broad range of industries turn to Gina to guide and defend them through their most sensitive matters, including investigations, government scrutiny, and trials.
Gina brings significant experience from her time as an Assistant United States Attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, where she was a senior member of the Securities and Commodities Fraud Task Force and led investigations and prosecutions involving securities fraud, insider trading, accounting misconduct and other complex financial crimes. Her background enables her to provide strategic, practical guidance in navigating government enforcement and litigation risk.
