Michael Lynch is a special counsel in Cadwalader’s Charlotte office. His practice focuses on leveraged finance and other bank loan transactions, including asset-based lending, commodities financings, NAV financings, hedge fund financings and acquisition financings.

Michael has been recognized in the area of Commercial Lending by The Legal 500 United States and was included in the 2022 through 2025 editions of The Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America for his work in Banking and Finance Law.

Michael received his J.D. from the University of Southern California, where he was a Senior Editor of the Southern California Law Review and a Teaching Fellow in the Legal Writing & Advocacy Program, and his B.A., cum laude, from Dartmouth College. He is admitted to practice in North Carolina and California.
