As head of the Litigation practice in Amsterdam, Manon brings a wealth of knowledge and extensive experience in commercial disputes, shareholders disputes, antitrust litigation, product litigation, professional liability disputes and tech litigation. In addition to that Manon regularly advices on (financial) restructurings and insolvency law. Industry sectors in which she is active are as diverse as automotive, energy and natural resources, financial institutions and consumer.
Representative experience
Acting for various clients in Dutch litigation on the lifting of (evidentiary) attachments levied in the Netherlands.
Represented a Japanese manufacturer in the Automotive industry in legal proceedings initiated by a German supplier on the alleged default under a volume contract.
Acting for a Dutch (listed) company on the acquisition of a Russian based group of companies as well as on the related (cross-border) litigation.
Representing a Dutch holding company active in the mining industry in various legal proceedings initiated against it in relation to the alleged default by the Dutch holding company under a share purchase agreement.
Acting for a Dutch (listed) company in legal proceedings in The Netherlands regarding a parent guarantee issued in favour of a Dutch bank relating to a process-outsourcing agreement entered into with a former subsidiary of the Dutch (listed) company.
Advising a Dutch company on the internal steps to be taken regarding an internal investigation into bribery allegedly committed in Thailand when entering into an agreement with a Thai bank.
