Gary Schuler is counsel in the Capital Markets Group, resident in Cadwalader’s Charlotte office. His practice is concentrated in the area of structured finance, with an emphasis on mortgage-backed securitization transactions. Gary represents issuers and underwriters in securitizations involving residential mortgage loans. He also represents a government-sponsored enterprise in its credit risk transfer transactions.
Gary was included in the 2023 and 2025 editions of the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America for Securities / Capital Markets Law.
He received his B.B.A. from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law-Newark. Gary is admitted to practice in the States of North Carolina, New York and New Jersey.
