Insurance Webinar Series: Sanctions - Key developments in the Insurance sector
Since February 2022, an unprecedented raft of sanctions and restrictive measures have been imposed in a coordinated bid to ramp up the pressure on Russia. The impact on participants in the Insurance sector has been significant, largely due to the broad nature of the measures and the limited nature of the exemptions available. Other global events may result in the imposition of further or new sanctions in the near future.
In this webinar, we will focus on key recent developments in U.S., European and UK sanctions on Russia, including the increase in sanctions-related litigation and the introduction of the oil price cap among other topics, as well as commentary on what to expect in the year ahead.
