Webinar No.10: Navigating the BIOSECURE Act, Most Favored Nation Pricing, and recent tariff developments

We are delighted to invite you to the 10th session of our “Spotlight on the U.S.” series within the APAC life sciences and health care webinar program on Wednesday, 25 March 2026.

The U.S. regulatory and trade landscape continues to evolve rapidly, creating new challenges and opportunities for global life sciences and health care companies. The enactment of the BIOSECURE Act in December 2025, the expansion of Most Favored Nation (MFN) drug pricing initiatives, and ongoing U.S. tariff changes affecting biopharmaceuticals and medical technologies have added significant complexity for companies operating across borders.

In this session, our speakers will outline what these developments mean for biotechnology and life sciences companies with operations or supply chains connected to the United States – particularly those based in, or with commercial interests across, the APAC region.

We will focus on three key areas reshaping the global regulatory and commercial environment:
  • The BIOSECURE Act – An overview of federal procurement and grant restrictions, how companies may be designated as “biotechnology companies of concern,” and the implications for global life sciences supply chains.
  • MFN Drug Pricing – Key elements of U.S. pricing reform and its potential global impact on manufacturers and markets.
  • U.S. Tariff Developments – Recent tariff trends affecting biopharmaceuticals and medical technologies, and the implications for supply chain planning and sourcing strategies.
This timely discussion forms part of our broader focus on U.S. policy developments, offering a holistic view of the regulatory, geopolitical, and economic forces shaping the life sciences sector. By incorporating regional perspectives, the session aims to provide practical guidance for managing cross border operations and assessing emerging opportunities, risks, and mitigation strategies.

If you have questions, please feel free to submit them in advance. Our speakers will aim to address them during the webinar.
