A triple‑qualified lawyer in Paris, England and Wales, and Milan, Aline leads the International Trade and Investment team in London. She advises companies on the full spectrum of international trade law and policy matters, including export controls, sanctions, anti‑money laundering, customs and tariffs, trade remedies, and foreign direct investment screening in both France and the UK. Her practice spans advisory work, advocacy, audits, investigations and litigation.
Aline is active in key industry and policy forums, including BAB’s policy committee, HM Government’s Trade Technical Group (TTG), and the Franco‑British Chamber. She is a frequent commentator on global trade developments, regularly appearing on BBC, Bloomberg, Politico and Global Trade Review. In 2019, she was appointed by the UK Government to the Department for International Trade’s Expert Trade Advisory Group. She also serves as global counsel to one of Europe’s largest financial institutions and led their orderly exit from the Russian market in 2022.
