Charles Allen primarily advises managers and arrangers in connection with collateralised loan obligation (CLO) transactions.
Prior to joining Cadwalader, Charles trained and qualified in the Cayman Islands office of a leading offshore law firm, where he gained exposure to U.S. broadly-syndicated loan, middle market and private credit CLOs. Charles also has experience as local counsel advising on various debt capital markets transactions and securitisation products, including receivables from personal loans, residential mortgages, and limited and general partner fund interests.
Charles was previously a member of a London-based pro-bono law clinic, where he helped provide access to legal advice on matters relating to immigration, family law and environmental protection.
