We are proud of our excellent reputation for our work advising investors (‘LPs’) in funds. Our diverse client base includes funds of funds, sovereign wealth organizations, governmental and policy-driven investor organizations (including DFIs), and the pension plans of some of the world's leading commercial businesses. We represent lead and passive investors, as well as financial and strategic investors.

Critically, the experience we have gained through advising GPs means our LP clients benefit from us knowing the issues from both perspectives. Our sensitivity to the needs and interests of potential investors is also valuable when advising on how to make new funds more attractive to them.

We also advise our LP clients on a wide-range of other fund-related transactions, including GP-led restructurings, a variety of secondary transactions, and co-investments.

Our client base includes university endowments (e.g. Yale), insurance companies (e.g. Prudential and Ping An), UK pension schemes (e.g. Barclays UK Retirement Fund), investment fund managers (e.g. aberdeen, Citigroup, Pantheon), Development Finance Institutions (e.g. British Business Bank, DEG, U.S. DFC, FMO, and IFC), Foundations (e.g. American Red Cross, Church Commissioners for England, and Smithsonian), Australian Superannuation Schemes (e.g. REST), and sovereign wealth funds (e.g. NTMA  and GIC), and many others.
