Chantalle Schoegje appointed as partner and civil-law notary in Amsterdam

AMSTERDAM, 9 March 2026 – Hogan Lovells is proud to announce that, as of 6 March 2026, Chantalle Schoegje has been appointed civil-law notary in Amsterdam. She will also join the Corporate & Finance practice group as a partner.

On 5 March 2026, Chantalle was officially sworn in as a civil-law notary. She succeeds Tom van Duuren, who is retiring after an impressive career spanning more than 40 years in the notarial profession.

Chantalle began her career over ten years ago at Hogan Lovells, focusing on international M&A transactions, (re)structurings, and security structures. She has extensive experience in acquisitions, financing transactions, joint ventures, international corporate reorganisations, and (cross-border) mergers and split-offs. Her appointment underscores the ongoing enhancement of the Corporate & Finance team in Amsterdam, which boasts a strong international presence in innovative sectors.
