Hogan Lovells advises Phoenix Contact on exit from automotive OEM business
Led by Dusseldorf partner Jens Uhlendorf, global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised Phoenix Contact E-Mobility GmbH on its strategic exit from the OEM automotive passenger car business.
As part of an asset deal, Phoenix Contact E-Mobility sold key assets and activities related to its business with passenger car manufacturers to the TE Connectivity group. This step marks the structured start of the company’s previously announced withdrawal from the passenger car segment, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2026. With the transaction now closed, Phoenix Contact E-Mobility is aligning itself with future-focused areas that form the strategic core of the Phoenix Contact Group.
Phoenix Contact E-Mobility develops and manufactures innovative solutions for charging electric vehicles.
Hogan Lovells provided Phoenix Contact E-Mobility with comprehensive advice on all legal aspects of the transaction.
