Led by Munich partner Peter Huber global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised Avelios Medical GmbH on a strategic investment by SAP.
With its modular, AI-native hospital information system, Avelios is defining the basis for the data-driven hospital of the future. Developed in line with clinical requirements, the software reduces documentation effort and simplifies clinical workflows.
This partnership with SAP aims to develop an open, AI-based and sovereign enterprise healthcare platform. The joint platform combines Avelios' clinical process and data architecture with SAP's business management enterprise integration strength, enabling a consistent, data-based infrastructure for optimised hospital processes. Avelios defines the basis for automation and the productive use of AI in everyday clinical practice, thus forming the core clinical architecture of the platform.
