Hogan Lovells advises Serica Energy Plc on its acquisition of UK oil and gas assets and infrastructure from TotalEnergies

30 March 2026 - Global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised Serica Energy Plc on the completion of its acquisition of TotalEnergies’ operated interests in offshore oil and gas fields west of the Shetland Islands, together with the onshore Shetland Gas Plant.

The Hogan Lovells cross-practice team advising Serica was led by London-based energy M&A partner Alastair Young, M&A associates Akhil Parekh and Ben Littlewood and supported by a team including Philip Harle and Tom Eyre-Brook (tax), Ed Bowyer (employment), Angus Coulter and Christopher Peacock (competition) and Andrew Shaw (projects).
